Lists the notification channels that have been created for the project. To list the types of notification channels that are supported, use the ListNotificationChannelDescriptors method.

Scopes

You will need authorization for at least one of the following scopes to make a valid call:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring.read

If unset, the scope for this method defaults to https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform. You can set the scope for this method like this: monitoring3 --scope <scope> projects notification-channels-list ...

Required Scalar Argument

  • <name> (string)
    • Required. The project (https://cloud.google.com/monitoring/api/v3#project_name) on which to execute the request. The format is: projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER] This names the container in which to look for the notification channels; it does not name a specific channel. To query a specific channel by REST resource name, use the GetNotificationChannel operation.

Optional Output Flags

The method's return value a JSON encoded structure, which will be written to standard output by default.

  • -o out
    • out specifies the destination to which to write the server's result to. It will be a JSON-encoded structure. The destination may be - to indicate standard output, or a filepath that is to contain the received bytes. If unset, it defaults to standard output.

You may set the following properties to further configure the call. Please note that -p is followed by one or more key-value-pairs, and is called like this -p k1=v1 k2=v2 even though the listing below repeats the -p for completeness.

  • -p filter=string

    • If provided, this field specifies the criteria that must be met by notification channels to be included in the response.For more details, see sorting and filtering (https://cloud.google.com/monitoring/api/v3/sorting-and-filtering).
  • -p order-by=string

    • A comma-separated list of fields by which to sort the result. Supports the same set of fields as in filter. Entries can be prefixed with a minus sign to sort in descending rather than ascending order.For more details, see sorting and filtering (https://cloud.google.com/monitoring/api/v3/sorting-and-filtering).
  • -p page-size=integer

    • The maximum number of results to return in a single response. If not set to a positive number, a reasonable value will be chosen by the service.
  • -p page-token=string

    • If non-empty, page_token must contain a value returned as the next_page_token in a previous response to request the next set of results.

    • Returns response with indentations and line breaks.
  • -p quota-user=string

    • Available to use for quota purposes for server-side applications. Can be any arbitrary string assigned to a user, but should not exceed 40 characters.
  • -p upload-type=string

    • Legacy upload protocol for media (e.g. "media", "multipart").
  • -p upload-protocol=string

    • Upload protocol for media (e.g. "raw", "multipart").
