Export resources from the FHIR store to the specified destination. This method returns an Operation that can be used to track the status of the export by calling GetOperation. Immediate fatal errors appear in the error field, errors are also logged to Cloud Logging (see Viewing error logs in Cloud Logging). Otherwise, when the operation finishes, a detailed response of type ExportResourcesResponse is returned in the response field. The metadata field type for this operation is OperationMetadata.

Scopes

You will need authorization for at least one of the following scopes to make a valid call:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform

If unset, the scope for this method defaults to https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-healthcare. You can set the scope for this method like this: healthcare1 --scope <scope> projects locations-datasets-fhir-stores-export ...

Required Scalar Argument

  • <name> (string)
    • Required. The name of the FHIR store to export resource from, in the format of projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/datasets/{dataset_id}/fhirStores/{fhir_store_id}.

Required Request Value

The request value is a data-structure with various fields. Each field may be a simple scalar or another data-structure. In the latter case it is advised to set the field-cursor to the data-structure's field to specify values more concisely.

For example, a structure like this:

ExportResourcesRequest:
  -since: string
  -type: string
  bigquery-destination:
    dataset-uri: string
    force: boolean
    schema-config:
      last-updated-partition-config:
        expiration-ms: string
        type: string
      recursive-structure-depth: string
      schema-type: string
    write-disposition: string
  gcs-destination:
    uri-prefix: string

can be set completely with the following arguments which are assumed to be executed in the given order. Note how the cursor position is adjusted to the respective structures, allowing simple field names to be used most of the time.

  • -r . -since=gubergren
    • If provided, only resources updated after this time are exported. The time uses the format YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.sss+zz:zz. For example, 2015-02-07T13:28:17.239+02:00 or 2017-01-01T00:00:00Z. The time must be specified to the second and include a time zone.
  • -type=sadipscing
    • String of comma-delimited FHIR resource types. If provided, only resources of the specified resource type(s) are exported.
  • bigquery-destination dataset-uri=at
    • BigQuery URI to an existing dataset, up to 2000 characters long, in the format bq://projectId.bqDatasetId.
  • force=true
    • If this flag is TRUE, all tables are deleted from the dataset before the new exported tables are written. If the flag is not set and the destination dataset contains tables, the export call returns an error. If write_disposition is specified, this parameter is ignored. force=false is equivalent to write_disposition=WRITE_EMPTY and force=true is equivalent to write_disposition=WRITE_TRUNCATE.
  • schema-config.last-updated-partition-config expiration-ms=duo
    • Number of milliseconds for which to keep the storage for a partition.
  • type=sit

    • Type of partitioning.
  • .. recursive-structure-depth=magna

    • The depth for all recursive structures in the output analytics schema. For example, concept in the CodeSystem resource is a recursive structure; when the depth is 2, the CodeSystem table will have a column called concept.concept but not concept.concept.concept. If not specified or set to 0, the server will use the default value 2. The maximum depth allowed is 5.
  • schema-type=et

    • Specifies the output schema type. Schema type is required.
  • .. write-disposition=rebum.

    • Determines if existing data in the destination dataset is overwritten, appended to, or not written if the tables contain data. If a write_disposition is specified, the force parameter is ignored.
  • ..gcs-destination uri-prefix=dolor

    • URI for a Cloud Storage directory where result files should be written, in the format of gs://{bucket-id}/{path/to/destination/dir}. If there is no trailing slash, the service appends one when composing the object path. The user is responsible for creating the Cloud Storage bucket referenced in uri_prefix.

About Cursors

The cursor position is key to comfortably set complex nested structures. The following rules apply:

  • The cursor position is always set relative to the current one, unless the field name starts with the . character. Fields can be nested such as in -r f.s.o .
  • The cursor position is set relative to the top-level structure if it starts with ., e.g. -r .s.s
  • You can also set nested fields without setting the cursor explicitly. For example, to set a value relative to the current cursor position, you would specify -r struct.sub_struct=bar.
  • You can move the cursor one level up by using ... Each additional . moves it up one additional level. E.g. ... would go three levels up.

Optional Output Flags

The method's return value a JSON encoded structure, which will be written to standard output by default.

  • -o out
    • out specifies the destination to which to write the server's result to. It will be a JSON-encoded structure. The destination may be - to indicate standard output, or a filepath that is to contain the received bytes. If unset, it defaults to standard output.

Optional General Properties

The following properties can configure any call, and are not specific to this method.

  • -p $-xgafv=string

    • V1 error format.
  • -p access-token=string

    • OAuth access token.
  • -p alt=string

    • Data format for response.
  • -p callback=string

    • JSONP
  • -p fields=string

    • Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.
  • -p key=string

    • API key. Your API key identifies your project and provides you with API access, quota, and reports. Required unless you provide an OAuth 2.0 token.
  • -p oauth-token=string

    • OAuth 2.0 token for the current user.
  • -p pretty-print=boolean

  • -p upload-protocol=string

    • Upload protocol for media (e.g. "raw", "multipart").
