DeleteInstance deletes an instance associated with the given study, series, and SOP Instance UID. Delete requests are equivalent to the GET requests specified in the Retrieve transaction. Study and series search results can take a few seconds to be updated after an instance is deleted using DeleteInstance. Scopes

You will need authorization for at least one of the following scopes to make a valid call:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-healthcare
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform

Required Scalar Arguments

  • <parent> (string)
    • Required. The name of the DICOM store that is being accessed. For example, projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/datasets/{dataset_id}/dicomStores/{dicom_store_id}.
  • <dicom-web-path> (string)
    • Required. The path of the DeleteInstance request. For example, studies/{study_uid}/series/{series_uid}/instances/{instance_uid}.

Optional Output Flags

The method's return value a JSON encoded structure, which will be written to standard output by default.

  • -o out
    • out specifies the destination to which to write the server's result to. It will be a JSON-encoded structure. The destination may be - to indicate standard output, or a filepath that is to contain the received bytes. If unset, it defaults to standard output.
